In this quote, Elizabeth Warren is criticizing both corruption in Washington D.C. politics as well as the Trump Administration’s lack of shame about it. She argues that the political system has primarily served those who can donate large sums to campaigns and hire extensive lobbying teams.

However, Warren states that the Trump Administration takes this corruption to a new level and does not even have the basic decency to feel embarrassed about its transparently unethical behavior. Overall, she is decrying how money has come to dominate the political process and how the current administration has taken such influence and impropriety to an extreme degree without remorse.
