Warren Buffett believes Congress has “coddled” billionaires by not asking them to pay their fair share of taxes. He points out that as one of the wealthiest people in the U.S., he pays a lower tax rate than his secretary.

Buffett supports the “Buffett Rule,” which would ensure the ultra-wealthy pay at least the same tax rate as middle-income Americans. By not implementing such policies, Buffett thinks Congress has given preferential tax treatment to billionaires for too long.
