In this quote, David Sirota is satirically commenting on the legal status of corporations as having some rights of personhood. After the Citizens United Supreme Court decision, corporations gained expanded free speech rights to spend without limit on political campaigns.

Sirota wryly suggests taking this concept to an illogical extreme – if corporations are legally considered people, then he will declare himself a corporate “person” chartered in Delaware (a popular state for incorporation) so that he too can have potentially immortal legal life as a corporation does.

He is also joking that as a corporation, he would not need to pay taxes like an individual.
